This tie-down violation comes from our friend Jason Rushforth from Rushforth Art and Rushforth Wheels:
  • If you care at all about the finish of your hood, don’t run a strap across it.
  • A flat hook is attached to the stake pocket. Upgrade to chain extensions for added security.
  • With no straps on the rear, and the front straps pulling the truck forward, it has a head start to roll off the front of the trailer
A Mac’s Pro PackUltra Pack or Super Pack provide four tie-down points to keep your vehicle in place.
When lacking deck hardware, use chain extensions to secure the straps to stake pockets. Simply select “Direct Hook with Chain Extensions” when ordering your strap pack, or order them individually.
